WHAT IS INDONESIA JEWELLERY FAIR?

INDONESIA JEWELLERY FAIR (“IJF”) is a pioneer in establishing an international jewellery trade fair in Indonesia.  IJF started its first jewellery fair in 1995 in the city of Surabaya – East Java with only a few national jewellery retailers, wholesalers, and manufacturers as exhibitors.  IJF began its first international jewellery fair in 1997 with international exhibitors from Malaysia, Singapore, and Hong Kong alongside with national exhibitors.  IJF is the only international jewellery trade fair that is supported by Indonesia Goldsmiths & Jewelers Association (APEPI).

Nowadays, IJF is a premier and international jewellery trade fair in Indonesia that hosts its annual prominent events in 2 (two) cities, Jakarta and Surabaya, in which consumers’ purchasing power is well above national average purchasing power.  The fairs provide a venue where national and international consumers, retailers, wholesalers, and manufacturers congregate together to source, buy, sell, and trade jewellery and their accessories.

IJF in Jakarta named Jakarta International Jewellery Fair (“JIJF”) is the largest international jewellery trade fair in Western Indonesia and hold its annual event in every 2nd quarter of the year.  Likewise, IJF in Surabaya named Surabaya International Jewellery Fair (“SIJF”) is the largest international jewellery trade fair in Eastern Indonesia and hold its annual event in every 4th quarter of the year.

Both JIJF and SIJF provide a great opportunity for manufacturers, distributors, wholesalers, and retailers in diamond, gold, silver, pearl, precious, and semi-precious stones to access into huge middle-class consumers with solid purchasing power and also to establish a business relationship with many Indonesian jewellers and regional jewellery traders.

The fairs have become a designated haven for consumers because exhibitors showcase a vast variety of the latest design of their merchandises that will set trend for consumers and jewellery industry.
